Below the topsoil, we found evidence of settlements from ancient times. The first artifacts we found date back to the Stone Age (around 5,000 BC), including many pieces of ceramic dishes, instruments for hunting and even examples of early artwork - a woman sculpted from soil
The second village we found dates back to the Bronze Age (around 2,000 BC). This was mainly the basements of cottages with fireplaces, several skeletons and dishes filled with food, probably for their 'last journey'. Archaeologists continue to work on the site every day and they are saying that this is the one of the most important findings related to Ancient times in the entire Moravian region.
