Over three days, the CTP team were tested mentally, physically and spiritually - with spirits. On the evening of the first day, we boarded a train at 19:30 in the evening and travelled 4 stops into the Czech wilderness. We were then split into teams, given a map and told not to miss the train which was departing in 2 hours, 10 km away. When all the teams eventually made it back to camp, an evening of gentle festivity ensued.
Day 2, we took to the water on inflatable rafts. Much merriment occured when some bright spark figured out how to unplug another team's boat, sending it, and the people within, plunging to the murky depths. Wet and weary, the team finally made it the destination and cleaned up for the night's activities.
In the evening of Day 2, we were treated to a special surprise. World-renowned blues legend, Charlie McCoy and Czech band Druha Trava took to the stage for a fantastic performance that got toes tapping and tongues a-wagging. After delicious catering laid on by the Zatisi Group, the second band, Czech funk legends Top Dream Company raised the tempo and the team parties into the wee hours of the morning.
