The country continues to attract increasing volumes of investment in higher-value-added operations in core sectors such as high-tech manufacturing and automotive assembly and supply. While many of our clients were initially attracted to the country because of its relatively low wage costs, most have since discovered the business-smart benefits of doing business in the Czech Republic. Today, many of our clients—many of whom are active in advanced areas such as IT, biotechnology, nanotechnology, engineering, and high tech manufacturing—continue to expand or consolidate their operations in the region, often moving higher-value added operations such as R&D, engineering and design to the original manufacturing operations.
