In Romania, CTP continues to make strong moves on several fronts. In Q4 2014, CTP expanded the CTPark Network via the delivery of a custom-built facility for an existing client, Frankische, at CTPark Turda in the strategic high-tech Cluj-Napoca region. Also in Q4, CTP acquired a modern, industrial park near Bucharest from the developer Heitman. The park, rebranded as CTPark Bucharest, comprises 34,000 m2 of pre-leased industrial facilities and land for further expansion. In Q1 2015, CTP further strengthened its presence in Romania via the acquisition of a 93,000 m2 modern logistics park located near Timișoara, Romania’s third-largest city. The new park, rebranded as CTPark Arad, is ideal for high-tech and logistics operations.
In Slovakia, in Q4 2014 CTP acquired a 10-ha land plot in Žilina, near Hyundai’s automotive assembly plant, to accommodate the growth plans of existing client Faurecia. CTP plans further expansion at CTPark Žilina and at other strategic land holdings in the country, based on the continued growth of hightech investment in the country
