Energy Trading Manager
The Energy Trading Manager is fully responsible for the Group level strategy for purchase and sell electricity within CTP Group
Particular activities/involvement in:
- Develop and implement energy trading and hedging strategies
- Manage and optimize positions for purchase and sell electricity and gas on the intraday and forward market for all countries, deliver expected savings
- Proactively identify and implement profitable trades and business opportunities for own solar production (SPOT, PPA, FUTURES)
- Actively assess and manage commodity risks, develop strategies minimizing risk exposition
- Implementation of Smart metering project, build the tools and models to manage own electricity production and consumption within industrial parks, provide energy surplus to external customers and markets
- Develop and provide flexibility services, deliver additional revenues
- Monitoring of the wider energy market to create a view on market trends and their impact on wholesale electricity prices
Requirements:
- Working experience with power trading markets such as EEX
- Analytical and conceptual skills paired with initiative and assertiveness as well as entrepreneurial action even under time pressure
- In-depth knowledge of market trends in Energy trading
- University degree in Economics or Math
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experiences
- Communicative English, B2 level;
- Team player with an individual proactive approach and good communication skills;
- Strong self-management skills to ensure time issues of project deliveries; ability to work independently.
