Independent Accountant
To support our growth in Poland, we are looking for an Independent Accountant, to join our team in Warsaw.

Your daily task will be:
- Responsible for day-to-day accounting operations on assigned legal entities;
- Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts
- Responsible for timely delivery of financial statements
- Preparation for timely filing of monthly VAT declarations
- Maintaining general ledger, fixed asset ledger, depreciation
- Book bank statement;
- Responsible for incorporation of weekly payments
- Support with annual corporate income tax calculation incl. deferred tax calculation
- Cooperates with Auditor relating to external audits in the periodic review of the company financial records;
- Support with implementation of adjustment, resulting from the audit findings
- Accountable for ensuring that accounting policies and procedures are followed.
- Support with take-over of Accounting from external accounting agency
- Support in set-up of accounting system procesess
- Responsible for preparing ad hoc statements/forms to the tax office
- Prepare all necessary reports to support management
- Able to thrive in deadline-driven environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting certification preferred;
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as accountant
- Experience from real estate company/external accounting office big advantage
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Polish accounting, tax principles.
- Experience on similar positions within organizations with multiple entities (over 20 preferred)
- Exceptional math skills.
- Proficiency with computers, especially Excel
- Knowledge of Axapta system is an advantage
- High level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company regulations.
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze large amounts of data.
- Communicative English language.
- Assertive, communicative personality, team player however able to work independently
