Senior Consolidation Specialist

Duties and responsibilities:

• Preparation of the consolidated reporting package and the monthly consolidated financial statements
• Participation in the implementation of consolidation instructions
• Support the accounting team for subsequent consolidations
• Support for the review of account conversion
• Liaise with third party administrators and financial teams
• Improve accounting and reporting guidelines and processes
• Organization of consolidation training sessions
• Coordinate data collections within the Group structure
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of the IFRS consolidation and reporting for all Group entities, including translation of foreign currency financial results to the Group currency
• Ensure all inter-company balances are reconciled in time and escalate matter in case of differences
• Confirm subsidiary compliance with adoption of key accounting policies and post-acquisition purchase accounting adjustments (acquisition, merger, sale, restructuring)

Reports to Financial Director

Desired profile

• You have a university degree in Finance and Accounting or similar. ACCA or any similar certification would be an asset
• You have 4 years of experience in a similar position (experience within the Real Estate industry would be an asset)
• You have knowledge in CZECH GAAP and IFRS. Any other local GAAP would be an advantage
• You are a proficient user of MS Office. Microsoft Dynamics (Axapta), and Reporting.CZ knowledge will be an asset
• You are organized, meticulous and self-motivated
• You have a good relationship and a strong verbal and written communication skill
• You are able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
