CTP continues its national and international expansion in 2018
This year, the company will finish the developments began in 2017 in its parks situated near Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara and will continue the development of the logistics park located in the vicinity of Pitești. The approximately 70,000 m2 GLA that will be delivered this year, are distributed as following:
Circa 8,000 m2 GLA from CTPark CLuj II were already leased to one of CTP’s strategic clients, and the rest of 22,000 m2 GLA are available for lease and benefit from a flexible structure that allows space to be divided into different sizes, depending on customer’s needs, from 1,500 m² to 10,500 m².
The structure of CTPark Timișoara II consists in an 15,000 m² GLA storage space that is occupied by a strategic client and other two spaces of approximately 9,000 m² GLA each, out of which one is leased to an local automotive operator and the other one will be finalized in Q2 2018 and is available for leasing.
When the construction of the two warehouses situated in CTPark Pitești II will be finalized, circa 5,000 m² GLA will be available for future tenants, the rest being already leased.
“CTP will continue its fast growth this year, both on the local and international markets. We have established precise targets, which we plan not only to reach, but to overcome in the next period. We aim at increasing our Romanian logistics spaces portfolio, and to achieve more than 1 million m² by the end of 2018. In Europe, we plan to reach 10 million m² in the next four year. I am convinced that the current market’s trend, the high quality standards that we offer, our team and the reputation we have built are solid advantaged that will lead to these goals," stated Remon Vos, CEO of CTP and Country Head for CTP Romania.
At national level, CTP’s plans for 2018 include an expansion of at least 300,000 m² in 2018, having as main focus the area situated in the vicinity of the capital, where the company owns three logistics parks whose cumulated surface is estimated to reach 680,000 m² by the end of 2018.
