CTP delivered the warehouse for online supermarket Sezamo, which launched its services in Romania

Bucharest, 20 of October 2022 – CTP, the largest owner and developer of logistics and industrial space in Romania, has delivered the warehouse in CTPark Bucharest North for Sezamo, part of the European Rohlik Group, which recently launched its e-groceries services for the general public in Bucharest and part of Ilfov County, following an investment of €6 million.

CTP has built a dedicated 12,000 sqm warehouse for Sezamo, which includes ambient storage and temperature-controlled units to keep products in the best possible conditions and reduce energy costs. The Sezamo warehouse is located in the CTPark Bucharest North park, located in the Ștefănești – Afumați area, north of Bucharest.

CTPark Bucharest North is located in the Ștefănești – Afumați area, an established logistics hub, on Bucharest’s Northern Beltway, close to the A3 motorway and National Road 2 (DN2).

CTP’s customised space created specifically for Sezamo has been designed to meet all the client’s needs and facilitate the entire operational process. Of the total warehouse, 9,800 sq m  are ambient temperature spaces, of which approximately one third are temperature controlled. There are dedicated areas for chilled and frozen products, including cold rooms that can generate temperatures as low as -24 degrees Celsius.

CTP has also set up for Sezamo.ro dedicated areas for dairy, fruit and vegetables with controlled temperatures between 4 and 12 degrees; areas for meat and fish products with temperatures between 0 and 2 degrees and special rooms for frozen products. There is also a kitchen of more than 350 sq m, an area dedicated to packaging products and equipped with automated picking and sorting systems and more than 2,000 sq m  dedicated to offices.

Sezamo offers a great selection of over 10,000 fresh products directly from local farmers, food from local artisans, and the most popular supermarket brands all in one place, surpassing the offer of a regular supermarket. Orders are delivered within 3 hours or at the scheduled time, with a unique service in Romania – the 15-minute delivery interval. In addition, the company offers an instant “Money Back Guarantee” in case the customer is not satisfied with a product, no additional questions asked.

Sezamo is committed to protecting the environment and invites customers to play an active role in this. Thus, the company delivers with its own fleet of electric cars (with its own charging stations at the warehouse in Ștefăneștii de Jos), uses reusable, environmentally friendly bags made of recycled plastic that reduce the environmental footprint and has implemented the “Save the Food” program, whereby customers contribute to reducing food waste by purchasing expiring food at a reduced price.

CTPark Bucharest North is located in the Ștefănești – Afumați area, Ilfov county and has a total area of 21 hectares. The logistics park is perfectly located to meet the needs of customers in the e-commerce sector, thanks to easy access to Bucharest.
