German Tmax Group triples its production facility in CTPark Sibiu

The growth in CTPark Sibiu highlights Tmax’s commitment to expand its production capacity and the company’s ability to adapt quickly to changing market conditions

Sibiu, 28 of April 2023 – The CTP Group, Continental Europe’s largest listed developer and manager of industrial and logistics space, is expanding its partnership with Tmax, a German manufacturer of sound and thermal foil insulation systems for engines in the automotive sector.

The German Tmax Group entered the Romanian market in 2021 with the opening of its Sibiu production facility, joining those already in place in Germany, Serbia, Italy, China, and the United States, in order to reduce global risks while improving delivery capacity. A new product line containing textile insulating materials has been assigned to the Sibiu production unit, which is located in CTPark Sibiu and serves customers throughout Europe.

Tmax’s expansion to Sibiu not only creates new jobs for local specialists, but also growth opportunities for the local economy. It also provides a strategic advantage, as Sibiu’s location in the center of Romania puts the production unit in close proximity to other European countries.

CTPark Sibiu is located midway between Bucharest and the Hungarian border, close to two major European routes, the E68 and E81, and provides easy access to both the country’s south and western borders. The industrial park covers approximately 25,000 square meters and will be expanded by another 20,000 square meters over the next 12 months.

CTP also owns a second industrial park in Sibiu, CTPark Sibiu East, which is only 300 meters from the A1 Sibiu-Nădlac motorway. CTP owns Class A warehouses totaling approx. 2.5 million square meters in numerous Romanian cities such as Bucharest, Arad, Brasov, Craiova, Deva, Oradea, Pitesti, Sibiu, Timisoara, Turda or Targu Mures.
