TIETO EXPANDING OPERATIONS IN OSTRAVA

The newly built office development designed by Václav Hlaváček from Studio Acht architects is located in the city centre of Ostrava and consists out of 2 tower buildings raising more than 50m and offering a total of more than 22 000sq m of A class office space.

Developer CTP will complete the property during second half of 2012 and will invest more than 50mio EUR. 

Tieto is the leading IT service company in Europe providing IT and engineering services. The company is active in almost 30 countries with approx. 17,000 employees. The company´s headquarters is domiciled in Helsinki, Finland. Tieto operates in various industry fields such as financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, media, energy, trade, manufacturing etc. The company has been active in Ostrava since 2004 and is the biggest employer in IT industry in the Moravian-Silesian Region with 1900 employees. Company´s strong intention is further grow.

The Tieto Tower (IQ building) is a new A-class office development located just 5 minutes walk from the city centre of Ostrava. The complex comprises of two inter-connected high-rise buildings with 14 and 9 floors. The great impact has been put to the surrounding landscape bringing sculpted gardens and flowers balanced with water features. The green area will cover more than 5,000 sqm. The property will have a green building status according to Breeam requirements.

The concept of the building is being developed following the success of the first IQ building at Spielberk Office Centre in Brno.
