Who will win the CTP DoksyRace triathlon this year?
90 km by bike, 1.9 km swimming in Máchovo Lake and 21 km running along forest roads – all this is waiting for the competitors of the 15th CTP DoksyRace triathlon. For the fourth year, the general partner of the race is a major developer company CTP. In addition to hundreds of contestants from the general public, CTP’s employees regularly attend the triathlon. Also, the CEO and founder of CTP Remon Leonard Vos will be competing.
Professional and amateur athletes will enjoy the stunning atmosphere of the traditional Czech triathlon CTP DoksyRace which will take place on September 2nd. The water area of Doksy and beaches nearby allow also to friends, family and fans of the competition to enjoy the sunny day here. As a general partner of the triathlon, the Czech developer company CTP offers the possibility to register for free to all its employees.
"The majority of our employees spend most of their days in the office. Thanks to the race, they have the opportunity to relax in the beautiful countryside of Máchovo lake and, in addition, to enjoy a little bit of adrenaline as a racer. I wouldn’t miss it and I am happy to participate also this year, " says Remon Vos, CEO of CTP.
This year's novelty is the inclusion of a special championship among developers. "Within the DoksyRace race, there is also going to be the first edition of open championship Czech Real Estate Cup. It is a race of teams and individuals. Currently, 10 teams and 60 participants are registered. We are also proud sponsor of this unique event, "says Remon Vos.
The race track is well-thought out and consists of cycling, swimming and running. Children's race, which is divided into several categories, will be held in the morning, starting at 9:30. Adult category will start at noon. Winners will be announced shortly after the race. Last year, the winner was famous "Czech IRONMAN", Jan Oppolzer, who finished the triathlon in 4 hours, 12 minutes and 22 seconds.
The race can be attended by individuals or teams. Competitors has to complete 1,9 km long swimming cycle around island in Máchovo Lake. There is also a 90-km long road around towns Doksy and Mimoň which is the best for riding a bicycle. The third part of the race is 21km long run along paved and unpaved forest roads.
